Grand Niagara was host to the Niagara Junior Tour on Tuesday, July 28th under sunny, hot conditions and the course was in spectacular shape as usual. Also as usual the staff was very accommodating and went out of there way to welcome the juniors. They brought cold water out to the players on the course in the sweltering conditions. Hats of to Bob Culig and John Taylor for all that they do for the kids.
Under 19 Division- Tyler Keenan Breaks Through
Tyler Keenan broke into the winners circle at Grand Niagara firing a one over par 73 at the demanding course. Tyler credited his driving for contributing the most to his win.
Eric MacLean and Jaret Chipman were one stroke behind the winner at 74 and fourth place was Andrew Pauls
Under 17 Division- Rein Zenka Victorious
Rein Zenka captured the Under 17 division on Tuesday firing a four over par 76 to also enter the winner circle for the first time.
Three players were two strokes behind Rein, Jack Allan, Zach Barber and Justin Dicienzo
Under 15 Division- Ethan Siebert Wins
Ethan Siebert won for the second time on tour this year shooting a one over par 73 good enough for a 4 stroke victory at Grand Niagara. Jack Day was second at 77 followed by Jason Maloney at 78 and fourth was Evan Clark at 80.
Girls Division- Susan Leone Leads the Field
Susan Leone carded an 85 to win the junior girls division at Grand Niagara nipping Kayla Burke by one stroke. It was Susan second victory this year. In third spot was Taylor Simoneau another shot back at 87 and fourth was Kira Petriello.
Under 13 Division- Nolan Piazza Wins
Nolan Piazza shot 8 over par 80 to win the Under 13 division over the challenging Grand Niagara layout. Kyle Romak was runner up with a score of 86 and third was Noah Sloan at 91. Fourth was Adam Caligiuri at 92
