The final stop on the Niagara Junior Tour was held on Monday, August 21st at Beechwood Golf & Country Club and the new owners were gracious hosts to the kids. Rob Morosin and all the staff did a great job with the players and Wray Barrett had the course in excellent shape. A few of the divisions came right down to the last event to decide the season long winners.
In the boys U19 division a playoff was need to decide the winner. Jack Allan and Andrew Noble finished regulation with scores of 75 and needed one extra Playoff hole. Jack Allan was victorious after Andrew got in trouble with his tee shot. Vincent Dicosimo was third at 79 and there was a four way tie for fourth at 80 between Steven Kozak, Charlie Jefferies, Jordan Antonucci and Matt Persia
Taylor Simoneau capped off a great season with her fourth victory, firing a one under par 35 back nine to record a score of 75 and a one shot victory over Sukrit Harjai who fired a 76. Third spot was taken by Susan Leone at 78, fourth was Kayla Burke at 79 and fifth was Megan Miron at 80.
Steven Kozak and Jordan Antonucci shot 80 to be low in the under 17 divison. Third went to Jordyn Rowling, Josh Holjak and R. J. Derhodge at 82.
Blake McGowan finished off the season with a victory in the U15 division firing a round of 80 to win by two strokes over Ben MacLean. There was a two way tie for third at 83 between Luke Delgobbo and Bradyn Wark and fifth was Deryck Burke.
Isaiah Ellis capped a great season with a victory in the U13 division carding a four over par score of 76. Second spot went to Michael Martel at 84, third was Sammy Rootes, fourth was Anthony Sartor and rounding out the top five was John Kingdon.
